Quirky Bars on Wheels For All Your National Prosecco Day Needs And MORE

Monday was all a bit dreary, grey and drizzly until we found out that’s it’s #NationalProseccoDay ...

Okay, we have to admit that it’s quite hard to keep up with all these national days and really, we don’t need the excuse of a named day to glug down a flute of the bubbly stuff. However, we did think it would be the perfect opportunity to showcase some pretty cool and quirky bars on wheels. Yep, you read that right. You can get food trucks so why not enjoy your evening beverage from one, right? Whether you want to track one down or hire one out for the most brilliant birthday booze-up, here’s a little window into the world of mobile bars.

Glasses at the ready, people.

1. Bubble Bros

So these guys hail themselves as the World’s No.1 Prosecco Van and looking at their dinky van and Bubble Bike, it’s easy to see the appeal of these bros. They know how to put on a prosecco-fuelled event and have even recently converted a vintage German fire truck to a spritz cocktail bar. Bottoms up.

2. Pococello

The guys behind Pizza Pilgrims don’t just spin dough bases, you know. They got tired of the lack of good limoncello here in the UK so along with Chase Distillery, they made their own. The lemons are straight from Amalfi and Pococello is available from various London restaurants, bars as well as their own little van. Head over to their Instagram to see where their rather adorable Piaggio Ape will drive to next.

3. Fancy Flutes

One of the UK’s only camper vans with fizz on tap - yas! Fancy Flutes gives you the option to hire out one of their classic camper vans or their dinky Piaggio Apes for any of your alcohol needs. They don’t only serve up prosecco though, they also offer Frizzenti, Pimms and Peroni on tap.

4. The Vino Van

Get ready for the smallest, cutest, pinkest little van you ever did see. Cute levels are reaching maximum levels with this little bar on wheels and they even provide a little lounge area complete with deckchairs for you. Check out more information about where they’ll be rocking up to next via their website.

5. The Cocktail Car

The people behind The Cocktail Car claim that they’ll “add the wow factor to any event” and all you have to do is take a peek at any of their two renovated, glistening red camper vans to believe it. They can serve up anything from Pecan Old Fashioneds to Raspberry Amaretto Sours so it’s safe to say, these guys have got the cocktail bar on wheels thing DOWN.
