Pick-Me-Up Banana Coffee Smoothie Bowl

Makes 1, Total time 5 minutes

This smoothie bowl is the ideal breakfast, snack or meal accompaniment. The combination of the banana, coffee and coconut makes it particularly refreshing whilst also delivering the pick-me-up you may be craving.

Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1 shot espresso
1 tbsp almond butter (or any nut butter)
2 dates
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut milk
5 ice cubes
Toppings of your choice (I like the combination of fresh fruit & granola/nuts. However, more nut butter, yogurt, dried fruits, shredded coconut and frozen berries are also good.)

Method
1. Place the banana, espresso, almond butter, dates, cinnamon and coconut milk in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Add the ice cubes and reblend until there are no chunks.
3. Pour into a bowl and cover with toppings.
